The Channel Chief Honor Represents Kensington’s Commitment to Helping Partners Address Customer Challenges, Boost Higher Margins and Continue Partner Program Investments

Kensington®, a worldwide leader of desktop computing and mobility solutions for IT, business and home office professionals. The Professionals’ Choice, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Dan Jaeger, Sales Director, U.S., DMR & Named Accounts, to its prestigious list of 2017 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2017 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

Jaeger was selected as a 2017 Channel Chief for his commitment to ensuring the continued success and growth of Kensington’s channel partners and partner programs. He works with channel partners to help customers overcome difficult or challenging requirements, sometimes bringing multiple teams together to develop a process or create a solution to address customer concerns. He has also been instrumental in reaching a new level of customer engagement and relationship building which has allowed Kensington to develop new products based on their needs. Since all sales are driven back through Kensington’s channel partners, the company can now assist in closing additional higher-margin deals for its channel partners.

“The executives on our 2017 Channel Chiefs list have distinguished themselves by building strong partner programs, developing and executing effective business strategy and helping to advance the channel as a whole,” said Bob Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They represent an extraordinary group of individuals who lead by example and serve as both invaluable advocates and innovators of the IT channel. We applaud their achievements and look forward to their successes in the coming year.”

“I’m honored to be selected by CRN as a Channel Chief this year,” said Jaeger. “We continue to dedicate the time and assets necessary to make our partners successful, and have invested in new channel partner programs designed to provide strategic pricing, resources to assist in closing deals and enhanced solution content for customers. We look forward to achieving new levels of accomplishment with our partners as we strive to build relationships and develop new solutions paramount to their customers’ needs.”

The 2017 CRN® Channel Chiefs list is featured in the February 2017 issue of CRN® and online at www.crn.com/channelchiefs.
